We reviewed their debut set at NYC club Annex last year, and also their appearance at Bamboozle in May. You'd think it'd be hard to take a pubescent actress in a teen drama about gossip bloggers and Upper East Side "queen bees" seriously as a musician, but the music is making it pretty hard not to.
Lead single "Make Me Wanna Die" is a snarly, Courtney Love-esque rock song, with some pretty hard guitar riffs. And "My Medicine" is an EP-standout, perfect parts pop and alt-rock.
"Hey there father, I don't want to bother you, but I got a sin to confess," she sings on "Goin' Down." "I'm just 16 if you know what I mean, do you mind if I take off my dress?"Well, you're sixteen, so yes, to avoid a lawsuit, we would mind.
