In two separate unrelated incidents, Lil Wayne and Ja Rule were both arrested yesterday in New York City and charged with various counts of weapons possession. According to AllHipHip.com, Ja Rule, who was stopped by the Big Apple's Boys in Blue around 10:30 P.M. while riding in a luxury vehicle in Manhattan, was found in possession of a .40 caliber pistol and subsequently arrested. Lil Wayne, a.k.a. Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was allegedly caught smoking marijuana in the street following his performance at the Beacon Theater, searched, and consequently booked for possession of a the same firearm, a .40 caliber pistol.
