When she first began writing and recording, Brunswick, Maine native (and gifted singer-songwriter) Aly Spaltro would use the local video rental store where she worked as a late-night laboratory for all manner of sonic experimentation. It makes sense then that the clip for "The Nothing Pt. II," a standout from her recently released full-length, Ripely Pine, bears a resemblance to some long forgotten horror movie in which a masked kidnapper assembles a cluster of hostages to torture them with pie.
