Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett’s First Weird Jazz Video Is Here

Lady Gaga Tony Bennett Jazz Standards Cheek To Cheek Anything Goes Studio Video

Lady Gaga and collaboration-happy crooner Tony Bennett have been hinting at the existence of an album-length partnership since fall of 2012, though it was starting to seem like the project might have been a little too weird to be true. Today, it’s been announced that the promised collection of jazz standards, now titled Cheek to Cheek, will finally be released on September 23 through Streamline/Columbia/Interscope Records. The unlikely duo has also shared their version of Cole Porter’s classic “Anything Goes,” along with some accompanying in-studio footage that highlights both the stark contrast and the strange chemistry that this musical marriage of convenience evokes. The record will also feature renditions of “Sophisticated Lady,” “Lush Life,” and “It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing).”
