See Krewella Throw a Nuclear Rave in ‘Live for the Night’ Video

Krewella 'Live for the Night' Video Get Wet

Krewella were one of Electric Daisy Carnival’s unlikely highlights — a trio who make big-top EDM cut with dubstep skronk and moombahton groove while singing about whiskey, “bitches,” and doing it like rock stars. On paper it seems like a terrible idea, true. But in action, Chicago sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf and their production partner Rain Man kinda freaking slay. They’ve slated their debut album Get Wet for a September 24 release on Columbia Records, plus plotted a massive tour around the thing, so in honor of the new we have a fresh clip for “Live for the Night.”

Directed by the Grammy-winning video squad Aggressive (Megadeth, Stone Temple Pilots, Killswitch Engage), the visual finds the ladies of Krewella causing some major disruptions to their perhaps pre-apocalyptic town. We meet the drone-like denizens of this dreary burg before we find the Yousafs causing havoc in the middle of a nuclear power plant. Let the zomboid liberation party commence by clicking play above, but be warned: there’s a “To be continued…” tacked onto the end.
