Kelly Clarkson shared the third (and title) track from her upcoming album, Piece by Piece, a song which the American Idol winner called “the most personal song on the album.” In “Piece by Piece,” the singer tells the story of a woman whose dad abandoned her family when she was young. Once she grows up, however, she meets and falls in love with a caring man who slowly made her believe he wouldn’t be like her absent father. “Piece by piece,” Clarkson sings, “He restored my faith / That a man can be kind / And a father could stay.” Stream the new song below, and pick up the album on March 3.
