The Punk Singer, a documentary that focuses on the life, career, and influence of SPIN cover star Kathleen Hanna, will be released in select movie theaters in New York City and Los Angeles on Friday, November 29. We've already seen one exclusive clip from the upcoming film, now we're presenting another. In the video above, watch Kim Gordon discuss Hanna's iconic early '90s outfit, Bikini Kill, and see Hanna herself reflect on her friendship with the late, great Kurt Cobain. Journalist Ann Powers also makes an appearance in the sneak peek segment.

Directed by Sini Anderson, The Punk Singer will also hit iTunes Movies and On Demand services on November 29. A national theatrical rollout is planned for December 2013. And fans in NYC can catch Hanna in person at Manhattan's IFC Center on November 29 and 30 — the Julie Ruin frontwoman will be attending a handful of opening weekend screenings. Head to the IFC Center website for more details.
