Kasabian to Release New Album

News

Dance-heavy British quartet Kasabian has announced the tracklisting and release date for their sophomore album, Empire. Set for a September 12 release, Empire is a darker and more personal album than their first, culling inspiration from two years on the road promoting their 2004 self-titled debut. The album-opening title track sounds like "Marc Bolan smoking crack with Dr. Who," according to lead singer Tom Meighan. Kasabian is set to launch a stateside tour behind the new album with dates to be announced soon.

Tracklist for Empire:
"Empire"
"Shoot the Runner"
"Last Trip"
"Me Plus One"
"Sunrise"
"Aponea"
"Program 88"
"Stuntman"
"Seek & Destroy"
"British Legion"
"The Doberman"
