Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O has issued a number of solo recordings over the last few years, but on September 9 she'll put out Crush Songs, her first full-length away from her main project, on Julian Casablancas' Cult Records. Today, she's released the first taste of that album in the form of a waterlogged visual for a track called "Rapt."

Built around creaky double-tracked vocals and a dusty acoustic guitar part, it's a far more subdued affair than any of the work she's done with SPIN cover-starring main band. But its description of love as a "fucking bitch" still lives up to her characteristic fury. Watch the video above, which features the Mosquito singer listlessly sinking underwater in a red dress.
