Kanye West’s month-long Twitter silence came to a cryptic end on Wednesday, as the Chicago-born hip-hop mogul revealed the following: “GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012.” And… that’s really all we know. But the clear implication is that West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint will release an album showcasing the artists on its roster, following the blueprint of Lil Wayne’s Young Money label.

The My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy rapper should have plenty of talent at his disposal. Artists with previously released or upcoming albums on G.O.O.D. Music include Kid Cudi, Common, the Clipse’s Pusha T, John Legend, the Roots, and Big Sean. West previously showcased G.O.O.D. artists on his G.O.O.D. Friday series of free downloads.

Meanwhile, G.O.O.D. could see some friendly competition in the form of a new Young Money album. As AceShowbiz notes, Cash Money boss Birdman has suggested as much in multiple interviews. Wayne’s imprint dropped We Are Young Money in December 2009, with appearances by the New Orleans rapper along with Drake, Nicki Minaj, and other performers in the Young Money stable. Could the stage be set for a Yeezy vs. Weezy chart face-off?

But to return to the most important part of this story — Kanye tweeted! West’s 140-character missives have provided the world with so much joy, an enterprising Etsy vendor named supernova recently hand-stitched an October 16, 2010 post reading, “I hate when I’m on a flight and I wake up with a water bottle next to me like oh great now I gotta be responsible for this water bottle” (via the FW). It sold 10 days ago. The good news: She’ll make more! “You can choose to have it framed in either a 5″x7″ frame or an 8″x10″ frame,” according to the original listing. “And because this is made to order, if there is a Kanye tweet that touches your heart more than this, I can do that one instead.”
