Kanye West invaded French television for a fierce performance of "Black Skinhead" on Monday (September 23). 'Ye dropped by Le Grand Journal to tear into the Yeezus highlight, bookending the single with a somber new intro and outro. The segment opened with Kanye singing, "I always knew they'd try to tear me down," while a live pianist played an interpolation of thegrinding industrial melody. But once the barrelling drum track kicked in, Yeezus rose, howling into the microphone and lunging across the stage.

By the end of the black-and-white clip, West had collapsed on the ground and was gasping into the mic, repeating the freshly added lyric. Watch the video above and skip past the interview with the French Buddhist (yep) to see "Black Skinhead" at the 12:00 mark (via Consequence of Sound).

That set is just Kanye's latest TV appearance, following recent performances on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in the U.S. and Later... With Jools Holland in the U.K. Both of those guest spots featured R&B legend Charlie Wilson, who contributed vocals to Yeezus and 2010's near-perfect My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Wilson and 'Ye have another collaboration currently in the works: The 60-year-old singer confirmed to MTV News that West will produce "Uncle" Charlie's next album.

"Kanye and myself, we started already — Kanye is starting on a new record for me," Wilson said. "Kanye is one of the greatest rapper/producers that we have. He's a little controversial, yeah, but he's still a genius at that in the studio. He wants to produce me, so we'll see how that goes. He's been asking for a while and I've just been busy." Wilson added that Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams also want to contribute to the upcoming record, which will serve as the follow-up to this year's Love, Charlie LP.

Meanwhile, Kanye has added a slew of dates to his upcoming Yeezus tour, which will boast support from Kendrick Lamar and an as-yet-unannounced special guest. The beefed-up itinerary now includes additional gigs in Anaheim and Columbus, but the November 1 show in Salt Lake City has been axed. Scroll down for a full schedule.

For even more Yeezy, head over to the BBC Radio 1's website to listen to Kanye's interview with Zane Lowe, streaming live right now. If the recent teaser segment is any indication of what's to come, it'll be a reliably outrageous, bizarre, and somewhat infuriating Q&A.
