  • Kanye West will perform at this year's SXSW. The rapper will play the Vevo PowerStation in Austin, TX, on March 19.

  • Arcade Fire have released a trailer to promote the DVD of their Spike Jonze-directed short movie Scenes from the Subrubs. The film, which premiered last month at the Berlin Film Festival, features footage from the group's "The Suburbs" video and a voiceover by frontman Win Butler.

  • Beastie Boys have announced their comeback album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two will be released on May 3. "Hold fast ye heathens," Adam Yauch wrote in a post on the band's site. [Beastie Boys Official Site]

  • French disco-funk act Justice will return with a new single titled "Civilization" on April 4. The duo -- Gaspard Auge and Xavier de Rosnay -- posted the artwork on their Facebook page along with cryptic lyrics: "The beating of a million drums / The fire of a million guns / The mother of a million sons."

  • Electro-rockers Does It Offend You, Yeah? are offering a free stream of their new album Don't Say We Didn't Warn You via their MySpace page. The record will be released tomorrow in the U.S.
