Kanye and Lil Wayne Remix, MGMT Reissue + More

  • Kanye West tapped Lil Wayne, Drake, and Big Sean for a remix of “All of the Lights,” the single that originally featured guest spots from Rihanna and Kid Cudi. Hear it over at NahRight.

  • MGMT will release a two-disc “tour edition” of their 2010 album Congratulations, which will feature remixes of tracks by Air, Cornelius, Violens, and others. It will be available on March 25. [MGMT’s Official Site]

  • Ex-Social Distortion drummer Casey Royer was arrested for heroin possession last week in Orange County, CA, after he was found overdosed in his home while watching his 12-year-old son, according to TMZ. Royer, 52, was hospitalized and later charged with child endangerment and drug possession. He’s being held on $120,000 bail.

  • D’Angelo has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct stemming from a prostitution case brought against him last year. The singer, who is reportedly working on a comeback album with Mark Ronson, was arrested in March after soliciting an undercover officer who was posing as a prostitute. [BBC]

  • Jane’s Addiction and Elvis Costello and the Imposters are among the headliners of this year’s Gathering of the Vibes Festival, held July 21-24 in Bridgeport, CT. The bookings represent a branching out for the jam-band-heavy festival, which will also feature Furthur, moe., and Dark Star Orchestra. [Gathering of the Vibes]

  • Check out Grizzly Bear‘s Chris Taylor, Solange Knowles, and Twin Shadow collaborating on the gorgeous ballad “Kenya.” The musicians recorded the tune to benefit Coca-Coal’s RAIN Foundation, which raises money for water and sanitation in Africa. [RAIN

  • Director David Lynch will team up with Duran Duran to film a live webcast of their concert on March 23 at L.A.’s Mayan Theatre. The project is part of American Express’ Unstaged series, which included Terry Gilliam directing a live Arcade Fire concert last year. [Pitchfork]
