Kanye Album Details, Springsteen on 'Glee'?

  • Kanye West has confirmed the title and release date for his forthcoming fall LP. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy will come out on November 22, the rapper announced on his Twitter today. Despite reports that the album was going to be called Good Ass Job, West Tweeted that the official album title "is and always was" Fantasy. [Kanye West's Twitter]

  • Bruce Springsteen will reportedly make a cameo appearance on Glee, playing the uncle of character Finn Hudson. A source close to the show says Springsteen would do a duet with actors Cory Monteith [Finn] and Lea Michele. "His music is loved by everyone and it has such potential to fit into the show," says the source. A rep for Springsteen could not confirm or deny the report to SPIN. [Showbiz Spy]

  • After a failed attempt to run for President of Haiti, Wyclef Jean will tackle the next best thing: a fellowship at Brown University. Jean has signed on as lecturer for the Department of Africana Studies for the 2010-11 academic year.   • Roger Waters has fired back at the Anti-Defamation League, who complained last week that Waters' latest touring production of The Wall contained anti-Semitic imagery.(The production features imagery of a Star of David, a crucifix, dollar symbols and logos of Shell and Mercedes getting dropped like bombs from an airplane.) "There are no hidden meanings in the order or juxtaposition of these symbols," Waters said. "The point I am trying to make in the song is that the bombardment we are all subject to by conflicting religious, political, and economic ideologies only encourages us to turn against one another, and I mourn the concommitant loss of life."
