Justin Timberlake has shared a snippet of what looks to be "TKO," the next single from his forthcoming second 2013 album, The 20/20 Experience: Part 2 of 2. He teased the teaser earlier today via a pair of Instagram posts. The first was simply hand-written text — "Should I release a new single today?" — while the second was a shot of him singing in the studio (see those above). After stoking the hubbub to the tune of 210,000 or so "likes," he shared this:
In the brief clip, we see JT and Timbaland in a smokey, blue-lit studio, nodding heads and bouncing hands to the curt, more rap-oriented beat. Timbaland delivers a more rhythmic approach to match, closing with the line, "Can't fight no more, you knock me out." Though no song title is given, considering the lyrics and our knowledge of the track list, it's a safe bet that this is "TKO," track four from the 74-minute loooooong-player.
Before this, we'd only heard the Michael Jackson-owing "Take Back the Night." Of course, we knew that the Two Timbs weren't done yet — not even close. The 20/20 Experience: Part 2 of 2 is due out September 30 via RCA Records.
