On April 1, Jon Langford & Skull Orchard released Here Be Monsters, a 10-track album replete with nods to Langford’s long-running cowpunk project Mekons. Now, less than a month later, the Welsh-born, Chicago-based songwriter already has a Monsters follow-up on the way. For this year’s Record Store Day (that’s April 19), Jon Langford & Skull Orchard will drop the “Days & Nights” seven-inch by way of In De Goot Recordings.

The upcoming vinyl contains two new songs: the fluttering, daydreamy title track, and its lively B-side, “Here’s What We Have (The Nixon Song).” Both tunes complement Langford’s sometimes-smooth, sometimes-gruff pipes with sugary, female vocals, and both are streaming below. Listen, then scroll down for Jon Langford & Skull Orchard’s tour dates.
