Johnny Marr just delivered his solo debut album, The Messenger, but the former Smiths guitarist keeps reviving songs from his '80s day job. The Manchester native recently played the classic "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" for the first time in 25 years, performed Meat Is Murder highlight "How Soon Is Now?" with the Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood, and he even earned the "Best Morrissey Impression" distinction from SPIN on our 50 Best Things We Saw At Coachella 2013 feature. Marr kept up with his nostalgic streak last night (May 1), by playing "How Soon Is Now?" as a web exclusive for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Watch the living legend's Moz-less rendition, then treat yourself to Marr's "The Messenger" performance, which aired on the television broadcast.
