Harp-plucking folky Joanna Newsom has announced the release of Joanna Newsom and the Ys Street Band, her third release for Drag City Records, Pitchfork reports. Out April 24, the new extended-player follows the release of her critically acclaimed sophomore full-length, 2006's Ys. The new EP features three tracks -- new song "Colleen" and reworkings of "Clam, Crab, Cockle, Cowrie," which is featured on Newsom's Drag City debut The Milk-Eyed Mender, and the Ys cut, "Cosmia."
