Jarvis Cocker Seeks Opening Bands

Jarvis Cocker, the in-limbo frontman of Brit rock outfit Pulp, is seeking a few good bands to warm select North American stages during his spring mini-tour behind Jarvis, the dashing rocker's solo debut out stateside April 3. Yesterday (March 27), Cocker dispatched word via a MySpace page post: "We are playing in North America soon & need support bands for New York (2 shows), San Francisco, Seattle & Vancouver - do you think you could help? ...recommend LOCAL bands that would be good for the job (preferably with a link to somewhere I can hear their music) & I'll do the rest." So, do you think you have what it takes to open for Britain's cherished rock wit-ster? Those who feel up to the challenge, please drop Mr. Cocker a line via Jarvspace.
