Here’s the Latest Evidence That Jaden and Willow Smith Are Wizards

Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, Interview, New

Jaden and Willow Smith operate on a higher plane of existence than the rest of us mortals. The evidence just keeps piling up. Both of the Smith children dropped new music earlier this week, but more importantly, they offered the world a window into their shared, incomprehensible madness in a new interview with the New York Times’ T Magazine. The whole thing is worth a read if you haven’t seen it already, because it’s madness from the first word to the last, but here are some choice quotes:

JADEN: Right, because you have to live. There’s a theoretical physicist inside all of our minds, and you can talk and talk, but it’s living.

Or how about the Smiths on babies:

JADEN: When babies are born, their soft spots bump: It has, like, a heartbeat in it. That’s because energy is coming through their body, up and down.

WILLOW: Prana energy.

JADEN: It’s prana energy because they still breathe through their stomach. They remember. Babies remember.

On school:

JADEN: You never learn anything in school. Think about how many car accidents happen every day. Driver’s ed? What’s up? I still haven’t been to driver’s ed because if everybody I know has been in an accident, I can’t see how driver’s ed is really helping them out.

On setting goals:

JADEN: I have a goal to be just the most craziest person of all time. And when I say craziest, I mean, like, I want to do like Olympic-level things. I want to be the most durable person on the planet.

The whole thing is nuts, and suggests that maybe Jaden and Willow are parented not by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, but by two wise owls. It makes just as much sense as the alternative.

In Smith music news, Willow just put her three-song EP, 3, on Spotify. The smooth album, which she previously released through Google Play on Halloween, demonstrates her remarkable artistic maturity. Jaden, meanwhile, released his own new album, CTV2, (Cool Tapes Vol. 2), on iTunes, but not as an album download, you silly peasant. That’s far beneath the unique genius of Jaden Smith. Instead you can listen to his latest opus by downloading the “Jaden Experience” app, which just plays the songs with fancy artwork for each track.

It’s exactly like iTunes, except that you can only listen to Jaden and nothing else. His music is interesting, and it’s good to see Jaden experiment with more than just simple bedroom rap, even if  somewhat incomprehensible. Kenall Jenner likes it though, so that’s really all that matters, right?

You can listen to Willow’s EP below, and download the Jaden Experience on iTunes. Steel your mind.
