Noted Baseball Fan Jack White To Throw First Pitch at Detroit Tigers Game

Jack White Baseball First Pitch Baseball

When the Chicago White Sox head up to Detroit next week to kick off a three game series with the Tigers on July 29, it looks like a notoriously crabby fan will be on hand. According to a tweet from Third Man Records, via Pitchfork, Detroit native Jack White will toss out the game’s ceremonial first pitch. His label’s famous rolling record store will also be on hand to serve the Motor City crowd’s vinyl needs in advance of their copious consumption of peanuts and cracker jacks.

But the most pressing questions still remain. Can White’s first pitch top Eddie Vedder‘s? Will it even beat out 50 Cent’s laughable effort? Will he look as pissed as he did at that Cubs game last week? All this and more will be answered when the Lazaretto singer makes his way to Comerica Park on Tuesday.
