Face it, you’ve attended many dreadful birthday parties — no pizza, no cake, no balloons, no entertainment. But thankfully longstanding Seattle-based indie label Sub Pop certainly knows how to celebrate, and will honor their 20th birthday this summer with a fiesta of unmatched musical proportions — and you’re invited!

Acts from across Sub Pop’s tenure will surface for the event, slated for Seattle’s Marymoor Park July 12-13. Grunge pioneers Green River, whose members went on to form Mother Love Bone and Pearl Jam, have reunited, while Red Red Meat, the Fluid, Beachwood Sparks, and Seaweed have reunited or ended long hiatuses especially for the party. Current label artists such as No Age, Wolf Parade, the Helio Sequence, Iron & Wine, Comets on Fire, Fleet Foxes, Flight of the Conchords, Foals, Grand Archives, Kinski, Pissed Jeans, and the Ruby Suns will also perform.

What’s more, is a July 11 comedy show at the Moore Theatre will feature Patton Oswalt, Eugene Mirman, and Todd Barry, plus surprise guests.

Tickets go on sale April 26 at 12 P.M. PST via subpop.com and all Ticketmaster locations.
