INTERVIEWS: Flaming Lips, OK Go & Gaslight Anthem

While the stages raged Friday at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festivalin Tennessee, fans were treated to intimate interviews at Harley-Davidson’s tent, where some of the weekend’s biggest stars stopped by to chat with SPIN.com’s Peter Gaston, answer audience questions, and ride motorcycle simulators.

Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips and his nephew, Dennis, of Stardeath and White Dwarfs, chatted about covering Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon; Brian Fallon and Alex Rosamilia of the Gaslight Anthem talked about their SPIN-approved new album, American Slang, and writing songs in New York City; Damian Kulash and Tim Nordwind of OK Go dished on the music biz and music videos; and Toby Leaman and Frank McElroy from Dr. Dog recalled their first Bonnaroo.
