Interpol Let Everyone Know ‘What Is What’ on Stormy Single

Interpol What is What El Pintor B Side Shepard Fairey Mural Stream

Famed street artist and clothing merchant Shepard Fairey teamed up with Interpol for the artwork for their 2004 album Antics, but he’s teamed with the former SPIN cover stars again this weekend according to his website. Fairey created a mural inspired by the El Pintor track “Everything Is Wrong” and while explaining the track on his website, noted how fans might come upon a stormy bonus track called “What Is What.” If you go to the band’s new website and type in “Everything Is Wrong,” you’ll gain a download of that single as well as the new B-side. You can snag it here or hear it below. Fairey’s mural is up above, which features the anagrams “The Very Growing Sin” and “Every Wrong Insight.” He says the piece explores “the idea of being complicit in a personal relationship or a relationship with a system that one realizes is unhealthy.”
