Insane Clown Posse Cover House of Pain’s ‘Jump Around’; Your Move, Limp Bizkit

Insane Clown Posse's "Jump Around" video

See, ’90s nostalgia is getting real now. The year 1992 was cray because we had not one but two near-one-hit-wonders about jumping around. The first was “Jump,” by backwards-pantsed kid-rap duo Kris Kross. They’re now set to reunite for one night only at Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def All-Stars 20th Anniversary Concert later this month in Atlanta. The other, of course, was House of Pain’s “Jump Around,” which the inimitable Insane Clown Posse covered, with reworked lyrics, on last year’s Smothered, Covered, and Chunked! bonus album.

And now, Juggalos and “ninjas who aren’t afraid to get loony,” behold the video, with ample face paint, arm-waving, and parade footage. Also, in case the FBI are watching, ICP are here to remind you they’re not a gang, though frankly we’d rather hear about gang expoits than “jokes” about how they’re gonna “fuck you in the ass with a shotgun.” If Limp Bizkit ever return to cover “Whoomp! (There It Is)” we’ll know it must already be time for ’00s nostalgia.
