It’s impressive whenever a video for a song pretty closely matches to the image you had in your head for it. The visuals for iLoveMakonnen’s breakout hit “Tuesday” was released yesterday, and as you might expect, the video features hip-hop’s most loveable new weirdo presiding over a smoky, inconsistently lit nighttime venue, with both an army of females wearing the trademark creepy ILM doll mask and new buddy (and label head) Drake along for the experience.
Meanwhile, as the singer and Drizzy sip from their styrofoam cups, a whole manner of “non-club-go-uppers” hum along at their office desks, in their gyms, and at their sinks. That proves it: no matter where you are, it’s always a Tuesday with iLoveMakonnen and Drake, and for probably the first time in the history of Tuesdays, that’s actually a kinda cool thing.
