Cue B-list celebrities making glowstick jokes! Icona Pop performed their 2012 hit “I Love It” last night on TV’s Dancing With the Stars, as Scandipop points out (via Pitchfork). The Swedish electro-pop duo did make the Charli XCX-written, Girls-approved youthful-irresponsibility scream-along into a neon-friendly affair And the appearance had a zeitgeist-cementing feeling for an act that has still charted higher overseas than in the United States.

Watch until the end to see the show’s Tom Bergeron, also the post-Bob Saget host of America’s Funniest Home Videos, offer rave-revival stock quips. And then check out our interview with Icona Pop plus our photos of their New York City shows, both on their own at Terminal 5 and supporting Passion Pit at Madison Square Garden.
