Human Eye warned that they’d be “Gettin’ Mean,” and now the Detroit scuzz-punks are making good on that sludgy, blues-harvesting threat with their latest LP, Human Eye 4: Into Unknown. Frontman/consummate showman Timmy Vulgar leads the foursome through nine filthy, throbbing tracks that incorporate psych-stamped acid freakouts, prog-ready sci-fi synthesizers, and the kind of blistering guitar fuzz one would expect. Delve into the Unknown below.

Human Eye 4: Into Unknown will arrive on CD on May 7 via Goner Records; vinyl editions will be unleashed on May 14.
