Two weeks ago, Hudson Mohawke announced his new album, Lantern, with a creepy teaser, and now the Scottish producer has shared the first track from the album: the fittingly titled “Very First Breath.” The new track, which premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show earlier today, features vocals from French singer Irfane nestled amid booming, spacious bass and anxious synths.
