While Nine Inch Nails are set to perform at New Orleans' Voodoo Experience and Asheville, North Carolina's Mountain Oasis, Trent Reznor's other band How to Destroy Angels are pulling out of the lineups.

Mariqueen Maandig, Reznor's wife and HTDA vocalist, broke the news on Twitter Thursday night (September 12), saying, "we're very sorry to announce that due to unforeseen production conflicts @destroyangels will be unable to perform at voodoo & mountain oasis." She continued in a subsequent tweet: "our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience, we tried everything to make it work. we will be back."

Those two festival dates were the only two remaining after the Angels' spring trek in support of debut LP Welcome Oblvion.

Meanwhile, SPIN cover star Reznor has created a massive, complex stage production for Nine Inch Nails' tour in support of their excellent Hesitation Marks album.
