See ScHoolboy Q, Best Coast, and Moby Sell Hoverboards with Doc Brown

'Back to the Future'-inspired video ad includes Tony Hawk and Terrell Owens

Dan Reilly

Well, here's a bit of fun to end the day. Someone made a fake commercial for "real" Back to the Future-style hoverboards, a.k.a. the skateboards that didn't need wheels. Whoever's behind the HUVrTech video enlisted actor Christopher Lloyd, who played Doc Brown in the hit franchise, along with a few other celebrties, including Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino, ScHoolboy Q, Moby, former football star Terrell Owens, and skate legend Tony Hawk. There's even an offical HUVr website that'll try to suck you in with help from Billy Zane. According to the WHOIS data for the site, its phone and fax numbers match those of, so basically it's an ad for something that you'll never use. Still, pretty funny, though.
