In their tenth year on the music circuit, Hot Rod Circuit is still cruising through their musical evolution. The quartet, on the road now with Limbeck (and due to put the pedal to the metal at this weekend’s Bamboozle and at Warped this summer), recently revamped their management, producers, and record label to circle back to, as singer Andy Jackson puts it, “a truer form of what Hot Rod Circuit started out as being.” The organic and mature feel of the acoustic “U.S. Royalty,” a confidently strummed country-tinged rocker, is a perfect example of a band at once going back to their roots, yet still hitting the gas, full speed ahead.
