Tinie Tempah is one of the biggest new hip-hop stars of 2011 — and one of the few British rappers in years to break out over here in the States. His single "Written the Stars" has been lodged in the Top 40 for the last 12 weeks, and with his debut album Disc-Overy out next week, the 22-year-old has debuted another track from the album: the hot party-starter "Till I'm Gone." Here it here.
Tempah gets an assist from two heavy-hitters for "Till I'm Gone": rapper Wiz Khalifa and Norwegian production team Stargate, who've helmed massive hits for Ne-Yo, Rihanna, and Beyoncé. The result is a glossy, synthed-out trunk-rattler that's perfectly timed for summer. Tempah's boasts match the outsized, glammy vibe of the track: he goes on about hanging with royalty in Monaco, in a sharp bark that sounds like OutKast's Andreé 3000.
