Hold Steady Unplug for 'Live at Fingerprints'

Brooklyn-based five-piece prep live acoustic EP for spring release.

The Hold Steady have toned down their brand of booze soaked rock'n'roll for Live at Fingerprints, a five track acoustic EP dropping April 17. The limited edition mini-album, recorded last October during an in-store appearance at Long Beach, CA's Fingerprints record store, will hit independent outlets as a one-time issue. As a press release confirms, "when it's gone, it's gone." Hold Steady fans in need of a live fix can catch the band as they wrap up their current U.S. outing or when they perform at George, WA's Sasquatch! Music Festival May 26 and at Manchester, TN's Bonnaroo June 16.
