Welcome to the post-Das Racist world. Heems released his second solo mixtape Wild Water Kingdom prior to the hip-hop group's surprise December breakup, but now there is "Soup Boys," the rapper's first official video as a now-solo artist (via Stereogum). Opening with a half-minute clip of President Obama discussing his controversial usage of military drones, Heems spends the rest of the video rapping in front of green-screened city settings and warfare footage. "That drone cool but I hate that drone / Chocolate cookie dough in a sugar cone," Heems repeats in the chorus. With all those unmanned vehicles patrolling the sky, Heems is in desperate need of White Russians to zone out from that foreboding feeling.
