Hear Cee Lo and Rivers Cuomo Team Up for ‘Anyway’

Mr. Gnarls Barkley meets Mr. Snarls Starkly in “Anyway,” the new Cee Lo song co-written by Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo. The track (which also features an assist from blown-out hipstatronica crew Wallpaper) also has a spiffy lyric video, which has already worked magic in making “Fuck You” a viral smash… although it can’t be understated that it also benefited from having the word “fuck” in it 16 times. “Anyway” will be forced to survive on it’s comforting Daft Punk-gone-disco feel, hilarious sad-sack lyrics and the hook we’re already singing after hearing the song exactly once. Basically, see you on iTunes on December 12, when this is released as a single.

“Anyway” is the first single off the platinum edition of The Lady Killer, to be released on November 28, and which also features Cee Lo’s cover of Band of Horses’ “No One’s Gonna Love You” and a collabo with “Party Rock Anthem” songstress Lauren Bennett.
