Green Day Go Heartless For ‘Stray Heart’ Video

Green Day's "Stray Heart" video

The way to a woman’s heart is through Green Day records. But it helps if you have a heart of your own. That’s the gist of Green Day’s lighthearted new video for swinging ¡Dos! pub-rocker “Stray Heart,” in which a leather-jacketed cassanova finds his charms, and his Green Day songs, start to fail him once his heart literally takes leave of his chest cavity. Though his Don Juan dreams might be vanquished, our would-be lady killer and his heart — which has legs, a leather jacket of its own, a smoking habit, and a tendency to flip the bird — seem practically made for each other. ¡Dos! is streaming now in full, and as frontman Billie Joe Armstrong works through the problems that caused the band to cancel its remaining 2012 dates, at least he can take some comfort, maybe, in knowing his heart is in the right place.
