Green Day, Bad Religion, blink-182 for Punk Documentary

One Nine Nine Four documents explosion of '90s punk rock.

Australia's Robot Academy Films is amidst the production processes for One Nine Nine Four, a feature length film documenting the explosion of punk music in the early '90s, PunkNews.org reports. One Nine Nine Four, the brainchild of two 22- year-old Aussie filmmakers who've spent the past three months interviewing numerous SoCal punk bands such as Green Day, Bad Religion, Lagwagon, Rancid, NOFX, and blink-182, will feature narration from skateboarding's elder statesman Tony Hawk. Although silver screen and DVD distribution deals for One Nine Nine Four have yet-to-be finalized, the documentary is slated to hit film festivals in 2008.
