Gravenhurst is one man, Nick Talbot. According to one recent interview, Gravenhurst is a mythical place that is infused with a kind of “darkness that you can control.” Much of Talbot’s inspiration stems from the death of a former bandmate. Depressing never sounded so eerily gorgeous.
