If you ordered tickets from Ticketmaster.com between October 21, 1999 and October 19, 2011 and paid a processing fee — so, everyone reading this, we’re assuming — you may get a tiny percentage of your payment back. According to Business Insider, if a class action settlement goes through, the ticket giant will have to pay $1.50 to each customer who ponied up for a processing fee without being informed about it. Customers can claim up to 17 orders apiece. The catch: the money will be returned to you in the form of a Ticketmaster discount code good for a credit… on Ticketmaster.
The lawsuit began back in 2003, and won’t be finally resolved until May 29, 2012, BI reports. But if you paid to have your ticket shipped expedited via UPS, you are entitled to an additional $5 per ticket because of deceptive pricing policies.
