Watch Ghostface Killah Wu-Bang on ‘Fallon,’ Stream His ’12 Reasons to Die’ Album

Ghostface Killah Jimmy Fallon 12 Reasons to Die Stream 'I Declare War'

Ghostface Killah hit Late Night with Jimmy Fallon hard Monday night (April 8), performing his new song “I Declare War” backed by a small army of heat-packing musicians. Fellow Wu-Tang Clan members Masta Killa and Killah Priest clutched mikes of their own while the Roots backed, a woman sung opera, and the cinematically minded producer behind Ghost’s new album, Adrian Younge, lorded over the keys.

12 Reasons to Die is the forthcoming set whose thematic content not only colors the song performed above but provides the narrative thread for a series of RZA-produced comic books that are in the works. Like “Murder Spree,” “The Sure Shot,” and “The Rise of the Ghostface Killah” before it, “I Declare War” finds our rapping hero in the midst of a quest to defeat “the 12 most powerful crime lords in the world.” We’re not entirely sure, but we’re guessing that oversize red coat doubles as an all-over utility belt. Oh, and thanks to NPR, you can stream the soul-steeped entire album below.
