G-Eazy Recruits French Montana to ‘Say’ Goodbye to the Haters

G-Eazy

For a guy who has referred to himself as the “rap game James Dean” (on “The Day It All Changed”) and honed his performances on Warped Tour, G-Eazy doesn’t have the most traditional hip-hop background. With his new B-side, “Say,” the Bay Area rapper taps French Montana to take on the haters. G-Eazy spits his mantra (“A crew full of misfits / Now watch us go the distance”) over dramatic piano and blasting horns in the Ty Fife-produced track.

G-Eazy spent most of the past five years building hype online through EPs and mixtapes, but finally dropped his These Things Happenfull-length this past June. Listen to and download “Say” for free below and pick up the LP on his website. (Bonus: For those of you who are averse to paying for music, G-Eazy also gave away a big portion of his back catalog for free in the lead-up to the LP’s release.)
