UPDATE: The original press release included a handful of errors in the track list. Among those was the title of the featured song, which is actually "Loose Sutures," which actually makes more sense. Also, the song named "Sleigh Bells" is in fact the previously released song called "Sleigh Ride." Don't smole weed, kids.

Ty Segall's proto-metal project Fuzz will deliver a full-length platter on October 1 — via Los Angeles' In the Red Records, as previously reported. The self-titled eight-song set will include all-new mostly new tracks (unless "Sleigh Bells" is a reworking of the careening March release "Sleigh Ride") — meaning tasty nuggets like "This Time I Got a Reason" and "Fuzz's Fourth Dream" are destined to remain the stuff of rare vinyl and swapped MP3s. In honor of the news, the band has let slip a song from the album: "Loose Sutures," a six-minute blues-punk slow-grinder in the style of Black Sabbath, albeit reimagined as a San Francisco garage band. True to form, Segall (drums, vocals) and his pals Charlie Moothart (guitar) and Roland Cosio (bass) fill the middle section of this fresh shredder with wicked solos — two minutes' worth — before bringing things to a crashing close. Bitchin' album art, track list, and tour dates after the jam.
