Brooklyn electro soundsmiths Yeasayer have released another free MP3 from their excellent, SPIN-approved sophomore album, Odd Blood, which comes out Feb. 9. You can download it using the widget below!
“O.N.E.” is Odd Blood‘s most unabashedly dancefloor-filling cut — and their most drastic departure from the offbeat, psychedelic-tinged material on their debut, 2007’s All Hour Cymbals.
“We wanted to sonically challenge Rihanna in the clubs,” singer-keyboardist Chris Keating recently quipped about the new album to SPIN’s David Marchese. “We wanted you to feel the bass in your balls.”
“We tried to make a poppier album,” added singer-guitarist Anand Wilder. “I don’t want to be 40 and making songs that only my girlfriend will hear.”
