Like a high school sweetheart, Brooklyn's Clap Your Hands Yeah are giving us mixed signals: Despite playing their "final" show last month, the Brooklyn band aren't saying goodbye just yet. They played a brand new tune, "Statues," on last night's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and now have posted a studio version of the track on their website for free download!
Confusing, but totally awesome!

Featuring surf-rock drums, frontman Alec Ounsworth's signature vocals, and plenty of melodic twists and turns, "Statues" shares more with the jittery indie-pop of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's 2005 self-titled debut than it does with the band's darker sophomore effort, 2007's Some Loud Thunder.
