Franz Ferdinand Preps ‘Pale Green’ Album

Scottish phenoms Franz Ferdinand have decided to leave their forthcoming second album nameless, just like their first one, a move that’s certain to leave record retailers groaning (at least until their cash registers start making that cha-ching noise when the album drops in September). NME reports that the band will instead identify the new record via its color scheme, which will lean on black, red, and pale green for its aesthetic. The British rock rag also relates that the quartet is currently carving out the new album’s tracklisting from 16 songs that they recorded in Scotland and mixed in New York. “Turn it On” and “Do You Want To?” are prime candidates for singles, NME says.
