Frances Bean Cobain is entering the family business.
The daughter of late grunge godhead Kurt Cobain and Hole frontwoman Courtney Love is set to make her recording debut with Evelyn Evelyn, a new project from Dresden Dolls frontwoman Amanda Palmer and bandmate Jason Webley.

The 17-year-old Cobain joins Tegan and Sara, Andrew W.K., "Weird Al" Yankovic, writer Neil Gaiman (Palmer's fiancé), and My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way to provide "gang vocals" on the tune, called "My Space."
The song drops March 30 on Evelyn Evelyn's 12-track self-titled debut (via Eleven Records), and according to a statement, it's certainly no "Smells Like Teen Spirit." In fact, Evelyn Evelyn describe "My Space" as quite the opposite: "an anthemic 80's power ballad."
This is all… a little weird, right? Well, it gets weirder.
Palmer and Webley have created a fictional back story for Evelyn Evelyn, claiming the band is actually fronted by a duo of conjoined twins.
As they describe it:
"Twins Lyn and Eva Neville were born in 1985, and their mother died during childbirth. When they were 11, they joined Dillard and Fullerton's Traveling Circus, which does not appear to be a thing that exists in real life. After a while, the twins decided to leave the circus and pursue a music career, and Palmer and Webley discovered them via MySpace and decided to help them release music."
To complement the album, Dark Horse will release a graphic novel about the twins' life, illustrated by artist Cynthia von Buhler.
And that's not all. Evelyn Evelyn have an upcoming tour scheduled this spring, including two Boston dates in April (a full U.S. tour is expected in May). Will the twins, who would be 25 years old now, show up?

Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman are cynical Scientologists in a business relationship. Every moment of their lives is contrived to get your money and attention.
Neil Gaiman just donated another $500,000.00 to Scientology in 2010 through his business partner Mary Gaiman who received a "Gold Humanitarian Award." Amanda Palmer is engaged to Neil Gaiman and Gaiman belongs to a cult that opposes free speech and free movement. Scientology runs prison camps for it's members, litigates enemies into silence and is responsible for suicides and suspicious deaths worldwide. Gaiman grew up being audited and intimidated himself and is used to lying. He may not even realize he's a hypocrite. Scientology persecutes gay men and woman, by supporting Prop 8 in CA along with so many crazy scams and crimes I can't list here.

Both Amanda Palmer and Frances Bean are Scientologists. Amanda Palmer is marrying into one of the major international Scientology families and her Scientologist fiancee Neil Gaiman just gave the cult $35,000.00. Frances Bean's mother Courtney Love fell into Scientology hands when she got into the Scientology drug program Narconon, thanking the idiots on her record. Now she is being sued by her own daughter so the crazy cult can get Kurt Cobain's money.

And how the hell are you supposed to know something like that? She hasn't done anything publically. From what I can tell she has a relatively good head and has the potential to be just as good as her father. Whatever she decides to pursue she'll prosper, it seems she has the passion and honesty like her daddy.

Brian Viglione is Amanda Palmer's drummer bandmate/ the other half of the Dresden Dolls. Jason Wembley is Amanda's current touring partner/backing musician.
And whoever it was who made the "How could such great men end up with such disgusting whores? I am referring to Kurt and Courtney, but even worse: Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer" comment, go kill yourself. Boring women attract boring men. Amanda and Courntey are INTERESTING and thus too much for you (or anyone else small-minded and bland) to handle.
Allow both Kurt and Neil to choose their own partners, thank you.

Frances' hair is actually dyed red/auburn and she's reasonably skinny. (The above photo is years old.) At least attempt to get your facts straight before you start sharing your wonderfully witty remarks with us the world, anon.

Frances Bean is witting and funny and not even remotely interested in following in her mother or father's footsteps. Jason Webley and Amanda Palmer are great musicians and even greater performers. The Evelyn/Evelyn album, book, and tour are likely to be outstanding. My guess also is that author Neil Gaiman will write the book.

Amanda Palmer is a repulsive psycho. If Gaiman chooses to associate himself with an obnoxious freak like Amanda Palmer, who mocks the disabled, strips in public and makes racist remarks, he deserves what he gets. Amanda Palmer isn't interesting, just desperate and a waste of space.
