Foo Fighters’ ‘Something From Nothing’ Video Is a Hardcore Sing-Along

foo fighters, something from nothing, new video

Foo Fighters have released a lyric video for “Something From Nothing,” the first single off of their upcoming album, Sonic Highways. The video, much like the song itself, starts off small. The words flash around the screen as Dave Grohl and co. perform in Electrical Audio, the dusky Chicago studio where they recorded the song with Steve Albini. As the song builds to its aggressive finish, the energy level goes up accordingly — by the song’s climax the lights are on full-blast and the camera shakes as if it’s barely able to capture the intensity in the studio.

The video debuted on Friday, as the conclusion for the premiere of the Foos’ eight-part HBO documentary series. Keep an eye out for more videos and tracks from Foo Fighters in the weeks to come, before Sonic Highways drops on November 10.
