Foals' "My Number," the second single from the British dance-rock outfit's upcoming Holy Fire LP (one of SPIN's 50 Albums You Gotta Hear in 2013), surfaced last month. (SPIN described the track as belonging to "an impressive lineage from the spazzy art-funk of Talking Heads to the nu-rave of Klaxons and the danced-up psych-rock of Oracular Spectacular-era MGMT.") The Oxford five-piece make good on that legacy with the intermittently trippy music video for "My Number." Opening outside a venue Foals is playing, the five-minute short provides a panoramic perspective of the band's live show. The camera pans from Foals' onstage grooves to a nearby bathroom occupied by a lip-locked couple. By the time the lens circles back to the main room, colors are trailing, dancers are passing out, and we're seeing double.
