"Just for one more night, let's relive the past." So begins "Young Doctors in Love," a corkscrewing new cut from Modern Problems, the forthcoming full-length from Shawn Foree's synth-punk project Digital Leather. It's Foree's first offering since the death of close friend (and purported manager) Jay Reatard early last year, and as such, it's a cathartic, straight-to-tape exploration of grief as told through the tale of an alter-ego. "This is personal stuff," Foree says of the album. "I'm letting it all hang out."

Modern Problems is due February 14 from FDH Records.
